Back to back metric century weekend went well :)

The course was mostly rollers, and ended up sharing about 30% of its route with the peninsula ride i did with Josh and Ben last weekend, so there was some familiar territory as well.

Food stops were average/mediocre, certainly nothing compared to yesterdays. There was one extremely poorly marked turn that had me looking up my back wheel and powersliding it to a halt before the car crossing the path careening down the hill. Not so fun.

Note to organizers, do not post a sign saying caution steep descent, if 2 turns into the descent it turns sharply left and *uphill* (while the natural flow of the road continues downhill to the right. Saw the marking too late, since it was *at* the corner, no advance warning..

Rode by some gorgeous mansions down in Palo Alto.. and around a lake down that way. Did the Portola Valley loop which is always gorgeous, and finished the ride pretty uneventfully..

There was a large snake in the bike lane around mile 50, but alas no crazy snake killers were with me at the time..

Very nice job, glad to see you're training hard so you can pull me on STP! :-) Glad to see I'll be the only snake killer in our group.
