McKenzie River Trail
Great run. Will write about it in detail later. Improved somewhere over 23 minutes from last year's MRTR 50k. My buddy Lonn won his age group against a very competetive field - he did exceptionally well. Friends John and Joe also ran well; John with a significant PR for the course. Lynne saved our bacon by supporting at the aid stations, and Dave was there for morale support. A fine day indeed. Start temps around 49F and finish somewhere in the low 70's. Most of the course is shaded and the McKenzie River is like a postcard, all 31 miles of the course.

PDX RiverfrontVery slow, short run with my boss. Intended to rest today, but got an invite after work and went out. Rode 5+ hours in the car today so it was good to get out, even if it was artificially slow.

Alton Baker LoopRecovery run. Ran slow and easy out to AB and then over to Doris Ranch, bark trails back through AB and home on Coburg. I felt Saturday's race in my legs and in my breathing.

Monte. Ran 6 in company and then 6 more. Nice temp and breeze from south. Sunny. Very tired when finished.

Alton Baker LoopThis was a Nike "Human Race" event this morning, starting from the Eugene Running Company, heading down to AB bark trails and finishing at ERC with bagels and water. Ran with Tomah and Sam, then just Tomah. Sam went 7 miles. Tomah won a free pair of Nike shoes in the raffle. Good deal! A good day for sure.
