2 hr 30 min out
5 min scenic vista at the Menucha/Women's Retreat overlooking the Columbia Gorge (awesome)

The day started out very cold and I felt bad that my friend Tim met part way, completely baffled by how cold his hands were. I think he may have been thinking about the prior day's 40+ degree start. Heavy fog gave way to a crisp, dry morning. Tim turned around at the Columbia Gorge Premium Outlet Malls after climbing 257th with me. I turned down the Scenic Highway to put in some extra time and to get a good view. Coming back seemed to be all down hill and I made up a lot of time. According to the elevation profile it was only 900 ft.

Nutrition plan was not followed very well, as I found out on the run.
Roughly 5 minutes transition to running.
