Early morning solo swims. It's getting easier to get in a groove -- swim suit, goggles, and swim cap waiting by the bed. Keys and pool pass in jacket. Sport drink made the night before.

This swim went pretty well, although I had to change lanes a few times since sometimes I was "slow" and other times I was doing "fast" work.

Warm-up 5 minutes

2 x 25s drill, followed by 3 x 50s―1 easy, 1 moderate, 1 fast.
Rest :15. Swim set twice.

Intermediate:
*Rest :15 after each swim. Go EASY on the 50s!
1 x 400 steady pace, approx 60% (buoy optional)

1 x 300 steady pace, approx 70%

1 x 200 steady pace, approx 80%

1 x 100 FAST.

4 x 100 pulling with buoy, breathe every 4th, 5th or 6th stroke. Rest :20.
