This recovery run was perhaps the hardest run I've done in a long time. Legs did not want to move; brain did not seem to be in it. Form could have been better, too.
However, I met my goal of having a sub-135 HR average with even having to closely monitor. Basically ran at what my body was willing to do.

My first ever after a true century. I was so hungry that my Jello-like legs were sounding tasty the more I thought about it.
Need to keep my HR lower. Race pace should be a full 1.5 min/mile slower probably....

My second go at this beast, and this time I did not schmooze a ride back from McMenamin's Edgefield from teammates.
It was harder than I remembered, in part because I did not remember the route at all and was just going by feel. That makes for a mentally longer course. Also, I added at least an additional 20 miles. Or was it 30.
Beautiful day to endure 3400 of elevation change.
