300 warmdown
what a strange practice. first, mr. olympics swam again today, so the first part of the main set was a sprint to avoid getting lapped on the 200's. then, devin kept trying to lead the lane but he couldn't remember what the set was or what intervals to go on. it was getting really frustrating because he would stop/go and it was messing up the intervals for the rest of us. finally, on the last round i got so upset that i just told him that i was going first even if it meant holding him back. stupid boys and their testosterone! good thing i was actually feeling somewhat good today and could hold on. all of my 200's were between 2:10 and 2:15, which i was happy about. it must have been that afternoon cup of coffee and frustration :)
one strange thing i have noticed is that since i have cut way back on my caffeine intake, i can't get myself up early in the mornings to workout before coaching. i feel better during the day because i don't have the high/low spikes, but my workouts have definitely been affected. it's made me realize just how sleep-deprived i was making myself.

Fun workout!! Mr. Olympics?
Only the warm up was long course...swimming long course is almost like a different event. It will take some getting used to if I get over there before 5pm since they will be doing that T/Th throughout the winter.
Nice work on the 200s! And I like seeing where you guys rest; it gives me some clue to what a masters practice looks like. But don't feel obliged to put those all the time. Reed and I will have to give this one a try.
Also, I'd love it if you threw some workouts up there for us to do next week
