succumbed to curiosity about seeing sunrise at Makapuu. Rode all the way out ot the eastern corner of Oahu, past Hanauma Bay, which is the classic twisty stretch of road built for sports car commercials with crashing surf on one side and chiseled volcanic rock on the other.

Sunrise itself was a bit of anticlimax, though.
