dropped my chain and lost a link as it was ground up in the rear gear cluster. having a chain breaker handy and being able to pop the broken link, shorten the chain and keep on riding = awesome sense of independency and self-reliance. doing the entire repair job in the middle of an afternoon thunderstorm = not so awesome sense of bad luck.
