woo ... just past Harvard Square, wound up encountering a rider on a Surly LHT who:
a) stopped at red lights
b) wasn't content sitting on my wheel
c) could easily hold 27 mph on a flat
20 minutes later, I was wrecked and soundly schooled, 2 for 8 on red light sprints and heaving for breath as I got to the office parking garage. Obviously, I've been complacent.
