Picked up the river further west outside the Arsenal Mall and took it to Beacon Hill, climbing over at Beacon St. instead of Mt. Vernon.

While lights were generally cooperative this morning, path congestion kept pace at midtempo. I'm thinking that this might be a nice option for going home, but maybe takes too much time in the morning.

Swapped pulls with a Bianchi Veloce for a good chunk of the mile or so between River St. and the BU Boathouse, then the Veloce peeled off to enter Kenmore Square. Nice while it lasted.
