cold, rainy ride home. bikes were rare on the road, though I'm not sure if that was the rain or the relatively late hour. It did make for an anticlimactic end to BikeWeek though.

Day Four of Bike Week breakfasts, though without sequential this time. Left the house early, so pace was pretty relaxed and easy heading into Harvard Square; but picked up between Central and Kendall as I tried to catch a fixie who was running red lights. Almost caught him at the Longfellow but pollen in the air and an empty tummy handicapped me severely.

Breakfast at Gov't Center was nice. Decent spread with Peets pastries along with a Clif table with freebie Clif Bloks and Bars. Wound up talking shop with another commuter on an Xtracycle, and another rider who commuted in on a recumbent trike. Good times.

rode from work to Arlington Center to meet up with my sweetie for dinner and catch the NEMBA/Bicycle Relief Fundraiser, which inlcuded Seasons, the new mountain biking film from The Collective. Both of us got a little homesick for British Columbia.

Won a set of shot glasses during the NEMBA fundraiser, and also what's apparently a rather blingtastic bashguard. Now I just need a mountain bike to put it on.

Easy pace on the ride home. Pollen in the air didn't make either of us eager to push our speed.

Day three of free bike week breakfasts. Met up with sequential again at the Kendall Square breakfast then rode with him for a brief crossing of the Longfellow. Wind was pretty chill today, but I didn't want to say anything for fear of jinxing it.

detoured up to Inman Square to drop by New Deal and get some fish for dinner. swung over to Savenor's to get gobsmacked by $50/lb. wild French asparagus.
