FP - MRT
Past my 1000 mile in one year goal. That was done in a little under two months.
Birthday ride = 39mi + almost eight to grow on. It. was. slow. Very slow. Rode FP in reverse, which was slow but not as bad as I thought it would be. The hills were easier than I thought. MRT was fast until I was on my way home. The return trip had me against a very strong headwind. Then my front derailleur cable split while I was in the lowest chain-ring. I didn't have my tool kit and had to ride like that for several miles until I came across another biker with a tool kit. Then back into the wind again. Not my best ride.
One more turtle, dozens of geese, 11 wild turkeys.

Usual Grant's Trail ride, plus a little dallying around.
Average speed is slowly coming up. This was despite some rather nasty headwinds as part of a storm system that was in the region. Saw a turtle yesterday, saw another today.
How likely is it that I have the same max. speed two days in a row on two different routes? Yes, i did reset the computer.
