Man, am I getting hypochondriacal about my hardware? There's a repeating rasping sound that I think is coming from my front wheel, and my rear brakes are dragging something awful. Seem overtight to me. Of course, last night I had the rear wheel off to replace the kickstand, so the odds that my inept wrenchings did something are high. Sigh.

Man, that sucks when you feel like you can't trust your bike to just work right. I know that place. Your brakes probably need to be adjusted again. Blargh!
Eh, well... I don't mind adjusting the back brake myself, since it contributes relatively little to overall stopping power. It's the front one—the one that really stops you—that I'd want a professional to look at if I messed around with it.
