To a new (to us) hole in the wall, unfortunately named Rumpspankers, which I foresee becoming a new favorite. It has much to recommend it (though neither of the local free papers, yet). Then to The Missing Link, in the hopes that they might wrench on my bike to its betterment, but alas, the mysterious repetitious clanking wouldn't evince itself on command. Thereafter to the Bike Gallery, where I bought nothing at their Summer Sale, but deliberated over helmets for ages, and across the street to Hollywood Cycles, where we were shocked and impressed with what a 14 lb. bicycle feels like.

Returned home by way of the grocery store, where the makings of lamburgers were purchased.
