To Jefferson High School, where the mayor was giving his annual State of the City address. Many pleasant things were said about children being our future, teaching them well and letting them lead the way. Lots of suits in attendance. The Urania really is a more appropriate frame size for me, but I'm just not a great fan of the Sachs hub, alas.

To Cherry Sprout for the odd vegetable. Took the old Raleigh and damned but if 1) its front brakes are crazy loud and 2) it really is too small a frame for me.

To Cherry Sprout Produce, for mushrooms and a box of sour cream to go into a Russian Vegetable Pie. Then Cascade Cycles, to pick up some new salmon Kool Stop brake pads for the Raleigh.
