So the first day of cycling after a looooong time. Thought i'd do ten rounds around the colony but quickly realized that would mean 15km on my first day and immediately dismissed it from my head. Then thought of 5 rounds and finally settled on 4 as a modest reintroduction to cycling(Besides my back was hurting like a bitch (is something wrong with my posture i wonder. or is the backpack messing the form up?) ). In any case was done with the 4 rounds with half of each round being downhill and the other half uphill so one could say a flat track as they compensate each other. Anyway am thinking about rest days(overuse injuries weighing heavily on the mind). Decided to take saturday and sunday off instead of just sunday. BTW traffic on the circuit in the morning(walkers) is as bad traffic in the city at rush hour. Hehehehe must have given them something to ridicule about by riding opposite to the flow with my form fitting Adidas trainer tee. Anyway have fallen little behind on my daily quota of sleep for the last couple of days. Guess its time to catch up.

i mean you need to pace yourself slowly as well .. because once you are confident that you can finish a marathon next you want to focus on speed... not great speeds but a decent enough speed... speed also has a lot do with stamina, calorie burning etc etc...
