Office Through HBHad a very worrisome weekend with sore legs from Friday and painful knees and a popping right knee on Saturday and Sunday. The knee still hurts/feels uncomfortable. That combined with the late night yesterday means i slept in late today and did not wake up for my early morning run. So woke up at around 9 and went to the office on my cycle instead. Was staying on low gear so that my knees wouldn't feel stressed. That's about it. Hope my knees are ok and i can resume running as normal as soon as possible.

Vinayaka ParkGood jog again today, Achilles tendon was on my mind when i went in and when i was done i was down with a sprained ankle. Nice steady pace as the previous jog through out and within the first 2 laps realized how important the breathing rhythm was. When i got it wrong i went into either oxygen deficiency or oxygen excess but when i got it just right i was effortlessly gliding along. Around the 15th lap my right inner knee joint started hurting but pushed through and now its fine. At the end of the run felt pain in my rear inner ankle and thought it was the Achilles tendon but the pain was localized in front and to the side of it. So applied some ice and hoping that its not a sprain, or not at least a severe one.

VVnagar 40feet roadUneventful cycling day, today wasn't such a drag prolly cause i had my cell with a good selection of tunes with me. Started late though at 5:30, so by the time i was finished sun was well up. Said hi to banda's mom and dad who were doing their morning chores. Good hang of the gears now and good cadence too, uphill just kills me and my back.

Vinayaka ParkGreat run today, went in today with what appeared to be a strained Achilles tendon so went in apprehensive about that and about the shin splints from a couple of days ago. The most notable thing today was how effortless the jog was on my lungs, i tried out a 4:3 breathing pattern with big gulps and it worked like a charm, later it got morphed to 3:2:2:1 and then 2:2, but overall the only limiting factor for the run was the pain in my Achilles tendon. Started out at any easy pace unlike the other day and was able to maintain a steady pace right through the 20 laps around 1:25 - 1:30 per lap(only one lap cost 1:31). Exactly completed in 30 minutes. The Achilles tendon started acting up in the last 1/4th of the run but pushed through anyway, Later once i stopped running noticed it was really painful but after about 5 laps of cool down it had subsided to a tingle. Worried that the pain might be due to either shoes/Overpronation. Had a good pre-jog and post-jog stretch as well. Started holding each stretch position upto 20-30 seconds. Anyway pretty good day overall.

VVnagar 40feet roadAnother tedious day of cycling. Somehow cycling in a lap to me is very boring. I love to explore new routes when im on a cycle, so going around the same route like 8 times seeing the same faces and places every lap is tedious. BTW gotta get air filled in the tires, and gotta get my nails clipped.
