I brought my bike to work and had a quick ride at lunch break time. It was my first experience but I felt it was the great idea. Weather was warm and nice in noon time. The route in Los Altos hills was excellent. There was less traffic and view was great. Honestly I don't want to go back to San Tomas or Central.
Since day time is becoming shorter and shorter, maybe I will switch back to car commute and bring my bike to work for noon ride like this.
Stevens Creek Trail is safe and convenient but I can not ride fast because there are many other people on the trail. In order to earn miles in limited time, I should consider faster route.
