Well, I forgot to wear my watch, so I don't know what my time was. I guess I'll get it off the site, though.

I probably didn't push myself as hard as I could have, but I'm still pretty new to this and I wanted to make sure I was able to run the whole thing. (I stopped and walked three times -- all for less that a minute, I think. Twice to drink my water and once just because I wimped out for a minute.) I did NOT stop and walk any of the little "hills" -- a fact of which I am absurdly proud.

I was passed both by a man in his seventies and by a woman undergoing chemo, so... let's not let that pride get out of hand.

I didn't bring my ipod, because I'd understood that headphones weren't allowed in races for safety reason. Either this isn't enforced, or headphones are banned, but earbuds are fine -- because there were a zillion nanos on the course. I always do better with music, so I'm a little bummed about that. Next time, I'm bringing mine.
