me too. next year, the century option. albeit maybe on gears with keeping up a respectable speed the challenge added in lieu of riding it fixed. it depends on how training goes during the spring.
as for rain, somewhere way back in i think march you can find my experience with pedal pittsburgh, the 60-mile option, which rode through an hour and a half of winter-reminiscent downpour early in the ride. that and the ride ended up on a series of a half dozen hills not unlike san francisco. the hills were bad, especially fixed, but that they saved them for miles 50 through 60 was just plain mean.
