Hit by a truck mid ride. Went to emergency room and had many x-rays. No broken bones - just bruises and much soreness.
Hopefully the driver's insurance will cover everything, including a new bike - I had only put 433 miles on this one in two months...

Holy crap! How are you feeling now? Have you been able to get back on another bike yet? And is the driver being charged?
I'm doing a bit better each day. I don't think I'll be recovered enough to get on another bike for another week or so. Just started walking without aid (borrowed a walker) yesterday.
Some things feel better/stronger each day, then new things start to hurt.
Not sure about whether or not the driver was cited. The report I received did not indicate a citation, but it did say he was doing an estimated 15mph in a zone marked 0mph (i.e., he didn't stop at the stop sign). I was already in the ambulance when the officer arrived, so I don't know much about what happened there. We have a call in to the driver's insurance and hopefully they'll be cool and cover everything.
