American Cancer Society Relay for Life- Distance 27.50 miles
- Time 03:46:54
- Average Speed 7.27 mph
- Average Pace 8:15 min/mile
Interesting. Spent 11 hours on airplanes yesterday, with no sleep until I got home at 2330 hrs. Slept about 2 hours then got up to go run the Relay for Life, which was on the track at Lane Community College. I ran from 0300 to 0630, then filled in for some others later this morning. Should sleep well tonight. Some tightness in my left calf. Sure made a difference on my pace for those laps I had someone to run with and talk. Met 2 local guys (Jim Donovan, Bill Dickenson) who've run the McKenzie. Bill will run it this year. Lost count of my laps around 78, but that seemed like a little more than half-way. I know I approached 28 miles by pace.

Unbelievable! Fantastic effort. You are really nuts you know! Look at that pace - yes, you really are nuts. Sleep - ah, yea, good luck - I'd be way to tired to sleep! Welcome home.
Holy moley! I have no idea how you manage these incredible feats!
