Livin' the dream here in Eugene! The town is loaded with runners because of the US Olympic Track & Field Trials. Started the day intending to go long, however, we joined in the Nike group run festivities after about 13. Ran with Lonn, Jim, Shane, Al, Joe and new friends Robert (from Eugene) and Christie (from Los Alamos, NM). Nike was nice enough to provide the "aid stations" which included water, Gatoraide, Cliff Bars, Starbucks coffee and cinnamon rolls and lemonaide tea stuff. It was outstanding. Everyone got free "Bowerman" t-shirts and they gave away a bunch of other stuff too. It was immensely fun, despite some lack of sleep last night.
