Had a great time today running around Hagg Lake SW of Forest Grove, Oregon, USA. I was in the company of Joe, Coop, Mindy and Scott, all great folks. The day was filled with bright sunshine and a bit of mud. The race was well organized and fun. My nagging groin/hip injury dimished my speed and level of effort a bit, but it was really nice to run without pain and to walk without limping for the remainder of the day. I think I'm overcoming this persistant injury. Only a few ways could have made the day better, and that would be to have some other friends along, like Lonn, Dave, Jon and Sam. Another race...
