My first real ride since the crash two weeks ago. I'm glad I dragged myself to do it, Friday night I was still considering skipping out. Overall the knee felt ok. It would hurt for the first few miles after the rest stops, but overall it wasn't too bad. Towards the middle of the ride my left knee started hurting a bit too, prevailing theory is that I was compensating for my right knee. Endurance wise I felt pretty good for the first 50 miles, but the last 20 or so I was definitely hurting. Luckily I had my domestiques, Tom and Sam to pull me through to the finish. After we got off that acursed gravel road, I started to pick up a bit and was able to finish relatively strong. Still a bit nervous about StP, but I've got a month to get back into shape, so hopefully it'll be ok!

If this guy can do it... .you certainly can. At least you have two wheels.

Awesome that you put a good ride under your belt. Plenty of time left to train up for STP :)
