My third year of the Marin Century and this one had the best weather, clear in the morning (no drippy fog, even at the coast on Highway 1, and low to mid 80s in Petaluma (instead of 100+ degrees.)
A group of us rode together: Scott, Chris & Anne, Kevin, Rico and Doug, atlhough at times we were separated, Doug got a late start and caught up with us, and Chris opted out and did the metric.
First long ride after the bike refit, and things felt good too. Toughest part was after Valley Ford, on the way to Petaluma when we should have had a tail wind on Chileno Valley Road, NOT! So getting to Petaluma was a struggle. Saw Sarah driving SAG on our way and she cheered me on. Got done about 5pm.
