What a gorgeous day for a Different Spokes Jersey ride, and we started out from Peets Coffee with 19 riders, picked up 2 more at McLaren Lodge in Golden Gate Park and one more on the Marin side of the Golden Gate Bridge.

Since the weather was so nice, it only made sense to climb Conzelman in the morning, and I made an effort to climb harder, keeping up with a freind in the club who is a strong climber, and I noticed that no one passed me for a change.

After the return climb up McCullough we then head on to Sausalito, today was the Avon Breast Cancer Walk so there was lots of activity all the way to the end of the Sausalite bike path. From there, on to the normal TIburon/Paradise Drive loop (road still closed) and lunch in TIburon before returning to the City. For a change we went back via Belvedere, which adds some more climbing (and I think about 1/2 mile or so to the total mileage.)

While not a "great ride" for average speed, it was till a great ride, and it felt better to push myself a bit harder than I have.
