Met a group from AIDS/LifeCycle at the Pruneyard Towers, where Downtown Julie Brown works, and Michael & Keith led a ride to Los Gatos and back.
It included a couple of nice climbs, and one short but nasty one. Fortunately it was short, but it felt like the front wheel was going to life up, so I did the whole climb out of the saddle (max HR 181!).
We got near, but did not do Hicks Road, although I am curious about that road now that I've seen it on Google Earth.
This should be fun, it's a weekly ride and I will do it again next week and the last week of July for sure The hardest part was getting home after 9pm, showering, getting to bed at 10pm and the alarm going of to get up the next morning at 3:30am. Note to self: work from home next Thursday!
