Set out for a 2 hour ride but I planned it to be a 17km ride. Near usha mullapudi asked the locals for directions to medak road and they pointed me towards shahpur nagar which would eventually lead to medak road but I planned the offset would be greater than then one shown by google maps on the planned route. Chose to go with the locals advice(Bad Idea). So I finally reach Shahpur nagar chowrastha and ask around for Vignan Jyothi college. Turns out not a single soul knows where it is except for a few auto guys who proceed to give me wrong directions and distance with high variance. One guy says 3km away, i go Yaaaay. Clearly after 5 km i knew he must be wrong. Then i ask a couple of traffic cops and their replies were not encouraging. One cop tells me to take a left at a town coming up, I was not sure that was the way to go. In the mean time I was getting dangerously dehydrated on a road to god knows where, with heavy vehicle traffic that was pushing me onto a sandy curb that was slippery. And all this while I was fighting to get to the pragathi nagar road before the sun set which was beating me. Finally stopped at a road side bar to ask for directions and this gentleman who was drunker than a fish gave me the only detailed and right directions of the evening. Thank you mr drunken uncle. He told me that a few KM ahead i would come across 4 way intersection at which I have to take the nizampet road that would go past vignan jyothi, miyapur..... . On the way there got off the bicycle and had a drink of 250ml and put the remaining 250ml back into the bag. And I finally come across the intersection at which i confirm from a couple of auto guys that i need to take a left and proceed to do so. And im cycling like a maniac always with my eye on the road behind and in front of me. The road from here on had a lot of blind turns and i was dead scared. I had another eye on the setting sun which was going down earnest. I cycled like a maniac until i reached a sweet sweet sweet sight of pragathi nagar road with the wodden construction arch. I wanted to dance and kiss the arch, but didn't. I got off and ran to the median to photograph the last bit of sun peeking as a proof of triumph hahahaha. Finished the rest of the water. Planned to drink something at more at pragathi nagar. The rest of the ride was easy going. Came home just before 19:00. Phew the total mileage 26.73 km.

Set out at 6:00 in the morning today. Went through baghayager to NH9 and then down road Number one. Saw this beautiful sight as i was crusing down road number one, The horizon was like a golden rim and the moon totally crescent was very low on the horizon in the east too. Finally figured out that the route if you take on the first left somehwer opposite BSNL office at HB eventually merges with the Malaysian township road. On the way back through malaysian township saw another WTF sight. Lots of kids practicing roller skating on the by-road in front of Malaysian township with a coach, Niiiiiiiiiice. Avoided a maniac driving a car who almost hit a lorry and came back home safely.
