Hit the road this morning at 5:30 and headed over to sisters. Parked at the city park and headed back west on hwy 20. Rode over santiam pass, then turned down onto hwy 126 and then onto hwy 242 the old mckenzie pass highway which is currently not open to cars. Gorgeous scenery, and tons of cyclists. Started to see snow about 4500ft on the mckenzie, but alot has melted recently and its almost all gone now.
Felt awesome climbing. Looking forward to the barlow trail century next weekend. If I feel as good as I did today, it'll be EASY.

Did you see how the skies opened up right as the Jan was taking the road? Probably a vain attempt to prevent the pavement from melting beneath his wheels!
