This was a good ride. It was breezy in spots, temps near 70F, beautifully sunny out. My legs felt good, and was able to push cruising speeds between 18 and 20mph in some spots, though my tires felt a little squishy. I bonked a little after sprinting through the downhill. I've got to stop doing that part of the route. It only destroys my ability to keep my pace up as it takes me about 15 minutes to recover from that.

Final ride of 2009! 1838.909 miles ridden. That's pretty good considering I was only able to ride on the weekends for most of the year, crashing hard, and then impaling my foot with a cactus. What an eventful year for riding.

Entering this one several weeks after the fact, but I think this ride was on 12/13.

I misunderestimated how cold it was today before heading out. I held out for as long as I could, but the sun was setting and it was only going to get colder. I cut the ride short and headed home while I could still feel my legs.
