Well, i was doing ok up until the 8.5 m mark, then I conked out. Stupid legs like jelly. Could've eaten 'em with a spoon. I was kind of shuffling by that point. Not so good.
Got to around 9.3 and almost gave up, but there was a race in the park at the same time - a lot of wheelchair racers - and I thought, "You putz. If they're putting in effort, why can't you?" Then I ran to the point where I was going to stop and it was just over 10 miles.
If you were to look at the little progress line my Nike+ draws when it maps results, you'd see a strong start followed by a steady, long decline.
Came home and immediately got into a freezing tub of water cause my legs felt really tight and strange. Also nearly fainted getting to the top of my 5th floor walkup. Probably a bit dehydrated - though not sure why since i drank an amino vital and a gatorade (and water). Lost three pounds, which is probably too much fluid to give away.
But now the reward - BACON AND EGGS! Mmmmmm....bacon.
