Woke up this morning with a cold. Don't know exactly where it came from. And by cold, I mean it's in that first 'feel sick, runny nose, sneezing' phase. But since it hadn't yet arrived with full force, I figured today's long run was not in jeopardy.

Did two loops of the 4 miler in the park. Maintained a pretty steady pace the whole way, actually. Only difference between the two loops was the first four felt great, while in halfway through the second my legs started to fatigue pretty badly.

Also tweaked my back a little this morning packing boxes to move. Damn book boxes are heavier than they look, relative to size. Such a rookie move. Found an awesome loft in Brooklyn - argh, moving out of Manhattan! Who'da thunk it? - and think I'll move on Thursday if I can. I'll be relatively close to the Manhattan Bridge, which means one of my new runs will be the Manhattan Bridge/Brooklyn Bridge loop. Looking forward to running that one, though I'll miss Central Park. :(

This upcoming week is gonna be crap for running. Flying to Austin on Monday for a meeting on Tuesday, and coming back late on Wednesday.
