Started raining less than halfway through which didn't help. Near death experience came when pegging it up the hill towards Blackhorse Road tube when a car just started pulling out of one of the industrial unit car parks. I kept thinking, he'll look round in a second, he'll look round in a second, but he just kept pulling out. Ended up pulling a massive skid in front of him to avoid getting hit (the alternative was to pull out of the bus lane and into fairly heavy traffic) and hollering for all I was worth a sensible critique of his driving ability.
