Recovery run. I tried to stay true to my goal of keeping the pace slow on the recovery run. It was so slow I thought the run might not ever end. We'll see tomorrow if this helps.

The most beautiful sunrise I've ever seen was this morning. I was heading back to the barn as the sun appeared to rise over the Cascade foothills. The Valley had a light, intermittent fog that created patches of brilliant red, muted orange, and golden yellow as the rays showed through. It was a stunning display.
