A fun morning of heavy cumulus clouds, a bit of thunder (I was relieved it wasn't my heart that was pounding that loud), and enjoyable miles w/ good friends.

Jon and Erik met me at the house and we ran down Bearcreek into town. Met up w/ Dave and then ran to McMahon's. Dianna, Rick L, Darren and us (we?) ran with Megan (18 year old graduate that is heading out to West Point this week) - she's our main high-schooler who has run w/ us over the past two years - for the final 8 miles. It was a send-off for an exemplary person/student/friend - it is an honor to know people like Megan.

The first 12 miles averaged about a 7:45 pace. We ran w/ the group after that.
