This was probably the ugliest run in two years. I felt mentally good and ready to run but my legs were simply tied up in knots. The muscles ached and the joints were screaming at me. I ended up running a mile and then shuffling a quarter, repeat, repeat. Finally I just gave up and walked it in. It was pretty clear that I was pushing it to do much of anything today. Finished the day by working w/ Zach and my dad in the woods with the chain saw - that felt very good.
