Goofy run today. Was supposed to do a recovery but Al needed to do his first track workout for marathon prep so met him at the track for 800 repeats - just did four and didn't push it as calf was okay but seemed on the edge. Good to start doing "workouts" - seems more focused and easier to get up in the wee hours.

i think there's six of us heading over to boston that i know of... we all ran together while training for the california international marathon down in sacramento. it was my first one, and i know i wouldn't have done so well without my training pals (who are amazing athletes).
it looks like you're having some problems with a calf... hopefully that clears up before eugene! i did the half last year and it was really great. have you done it before?
