What a classic run. We began on Pre's Trail, headed down along the Willamette River and then over to the east hills. Ran up to Hendricks Park and Pre's Rock (where he was killed in the car accident), along the hillside and down to the Rexius and Amazon Trails. One of the highlights was running back toward the car and doing a mile on the famouis Hayward Field track (2008 Olympic Trials will be held there next year.) Ran w/ Erk - great company. Just a wonderful morning of relaxing, visiting, and letting the craziness of the world happen somewhere else than inside my head. It was good. Oops. forgot to mention that my left hamster got a bit tight near the end - time for massage.
