I rode solo this morning, leaving the house at 6am and doing 2 hours before hooking up with the Cool Creek ride. I did the first hour of that ride at a high intensity, running between 24 and 28. We had a group off the front that was 5 that became 4, to 3, and then just me and another guy for about the last mile.
I pulled off where the group stops for breakfast and headed back north, doing another hour on my own, half of which was basically one big TT interval.
I had lots of miles, and quite a bit of intensity. I am trying to pack in three solid, long, hard days before heading to Canada for 4 days.
Tomorrow: 75 mile hammerfest
Monday: 60 miles of intense climbing in southern indiana.
