Woodside TreadmillI forgot to pay attention to how far I ran, so this is a guess. I did 15 minutes on the treadmill before I did my circuit training.

Woodside TreadmillI just really started working out again in earnest and I have a lot of ground to make up.
Yesterday, I started my workout with a quick run on the treadmill as a warmup, then did 50 minutes of circuit training.

Walking; not running.

Swam the 1/4 mile again this morning. Rested a little every three laps. Ought to add another three laps... probably Friday.

9 laps is, I believe, 1/4 mile... or 400 meters. Easier Tuesday than it was Friday.

8 months pregnant; haven't been working out much. First time back, opted to take it easy for obvious reasons.

Warm up today was 3 minutes on the treadmill at a 10% incline. Stopped and stretched then got back on at a .2% incline for a 2 mile run at 4.5-5.5. Walked for a cool down, then headed to the weight room for push-ups on the balance board.
I need to start doing some ab work but damn… I hate ab work.
Progress, not perfection…
(No embarrassing tunes today. Oh, wait — unless you count “Carry On My Wayward Son” as embarrassing. Which you might.)

Okay, much better this morning: I remembered my ipod, which makes a world of difference. My warm up was to ‘NSYNC’s Bye Bye Bye — Yeah, that’s right. I have an ‘NSYNC song on my ipod! I bet you have something mortifying too. My actual run began with the far less-embarrassing Baba O’Reilly (The Who). Such a perfect opener. Queen, Bowie, ELO and The White Stripes took it from there.
I walked a quarter mile to warm up at a 10% incline, stopped and stretched, then got back on the treadmill and did a 2 mile run at 4.6-5.0, then walked a .15 mile cool down.

Westin Hotel TreadmillComing back from a layoff... again. Felt good though -- well, okay -- felt good after the first half mile. The first half mile sucked.
I did a three minute warm up, walking, on a 6 incline. Then the 2 mile run at 4.6-5.0. (Punctuated with a couple of walks when I started to feely pukey -- forgot to drink water in the morning. Oops.) Then a quarter mile cool down.
The machine reset before I could record the time, so I'm guessing.
