Trying to extend my base milage a little.
The first half a mile I was still half asleep so my eyes were 1/2 closed.
Glad I ran this morning I was dehydrated like crazy when I got home and it was relatively cool out

If you dropped your pace a bit 6 ish mph I bet you could easily kick out 12+ mile workout. Go on a weekend since you probably don't have time during the week. It will feel stupid going super slow at first but once you have gone many miles (for me it is like 4+) you HR starts climbing and you feel like you are working pretty hard.
