This was supposed to be an easy run. I got up and did the workout on base in the morning and I planned to run outside since the temps weren't too bad yet.
Well the temps were good but either I have no ability to control my pace or the horrible trails I was running with about 6 inches of loose, dry sand covering the whole thing caused my HR to be far higher than I wanted.
I need to seek out some different trails for potential early morning base or otherwise runs because the quality was just unacceptable. I will sprain something on these trails and eventually the terrain would limit speed.

Glad you could get outside to run for a change. Better to find somewhere that injury won't be a problem though. Nothing is more frustrating than being unable to get out becasue you're hurt, as you know. Good pace for a varied terrain workout though.
