This was what I classify as a "long" run. I picked a steady and slower pace (for this run it was around 5 mph) and went for distance and total min. I logged 4 miles in just under 50 min so both are highs since being back from injury.
The first 2.25 miles breezed by and from there I had to work progressively harder mentally and physically to keep at it. The last .75 miles were getting far harder and my heart rate was in the high 80% range throughout the end of the run. But I think it was a good workout and it definitely burned lots of calories.

Glad to hear the various runs you've been trying seem to be working out. With as much stuff as you're monitoring overtraining shouldn't be an issue, so keep pushing it up within the bounds of what your body tells you is ok. That resting heart rate is really good.
Thanks for the encouragement craiger, but you got to check out my workout on 6/25. Freaking great by comparison.
