So today I went for some intervals.
I started with a nice 5 min warmup.
Then I went for 6x 90 sec intervals at around 7min mile pace. Between each interval I waited for HR to drop below 140 so for the most part a complete recovery.
Workout went fairly well and I got some speed on my legs for the week. My abs started to get a bit sore in the last interval so I know I need to work on those, I think the 100 push up challenge might have the abs a little more worked then usual.
All in all a decent run. Hopefully I want to increase the duration of the intervals and the frequency of them but keep the pace up there.
One thing for sure on this workout I was giving my HR a good sawtooth impulse.
