My legs felt sore, but other than that I felt great. It was a good ride, and while it wasn't as fast as I would have liked it... it really wasn't bad at all. The temperature was around 66 most of the ride, and portions of the ride were VERY windy.
You know cycling season has begun when half the riders on the road have a pot belly and are dressed head to toe in Discovery Channel gear. :)
I felt really fresh still when I got off the bike, and I did a brick (bike+run). My legs were still thrashed from running from yesterday, so I just did 2.5 miles to start to train my legs to transition from cycling to running.
As an interesting side note, I now have nutrition on the bike figured out well enough that I did 3+ hours on the bike and 30 minutes running without having eaten anything solid yet today. I missed breakfast, and just had liquid nutrition while working out. No bonking or anything. wheee.
