the Tuesday night group ride, out to Midhurst, and into Shanty Bay.
A good night for a ride, warm, but a bit windy.
Felt great tonight, very strong after the race this weekend, so i rode in 53x19 on the flats, and 53x11 for the climbs. It was an interesting ride, i had no trouble staying in the pack, and still had enough left for the townline sprint at the end. Unfortunately I got boxed in at the end, and Shawn and Watson got away too far to reel back in.
I'm definitely getting stronger and faster, and am learing to play tactics a bit better. I am poised to possibly take the season points championship, so I am very motivated to keep riding hard!

how old are you?? I'm 45, so I can't even get my HR anywhere near 190... These days I seem to max at 180, although I don't like to take it over 175 on group rides or in races, unless it's a sprint or near the end of the ride or interval. I think I've peaked out for this season, or at least for August and I need a rest recovery period after this upcoming stage race.
I need a new HR monitor, mine doesn't even tell me my average. It's no where near 160- that's for sure!
