The rain finally let up, so i decided to take a trip on the bike to pre ride the course for Sunday's race.
Another really fast ride, i can't get over how good i've been feeling on the bike as of late. I do appreciate having weendure and it's members as motivation to keep working, it's great because there's always someone to "compete" with :)
I feel ready for the race this weekend, i'm glad i did the pre ride, there's a lot more little hills on the second half of the course which are roads i'd never been on yet. The race should prove to have some very fast sections, but with enough elevation change to weed out the weaker riders. Course length looks to be about 31.6kms and we do 2 laps afaik. On this pre ride I was able to do the course in 55mins 30secs, working out to an average speed of ~34.2km/h. I would expect our race pace to be more like 39, or 40km/h.
Tomorrow is the TT, hopefully i can better my time over the last two!

As do I appreciate the weendure crowd. It allways makes me want to do a bit more to stay on top and Endure even more.
