Went out on the Tuesday night group ride, there was about 30 members out tonight. A good turnout, and a good group of riders at that.
We headed off into Essa, and then went south for a while, eventually we did a big loop west, and came back into town on Molson Park Drive, but from West of County Rd 56.
It's a nice hilly stretch that I do regularly on my own, so it was a choice time to be coming back into town when everyone is ready for some sprint action.
I got off well in the 2 big sprints that mattered tonight. The first I won by a bike length, and the second I lost by about a wheel.
Once again, i'm just feeling stronger and stronger, had the ticker up to 193, which really means i was giving my all. I didn't notice that much flex at all when sprinting, which makes me happier with my new bike.
It's calling for rain here tomorrow, and i should take a rest day so that I don't get overtrained before the race this weekend. If the weather is good, i'll likely do a super low effort ride and then I plan to pre ride Sunday's race course after the TT on Thursday.
