Well, lately it seems i'm getting quicker every ride, and today was no exception.
Another stellar feeling ride, even though it had been a grey rainy day, it dried up enough to get out for a fast 60kms.
Did the route i've probably done the most so far this year, and beat my previous best time by about 15minutes. I'm sure some is attributable to the added comfort of the Carbon rear end on the new Bianchi, but moreso it's because my legs are really beginning to get really strong. I'm also really spinning much faster than at the start of the year, when my averages were ~74RPM. Today's ride is my 3rd or 4th ride with an average sitting around the century mark. This is the achievement I'm most proud of this year, I've worked on it every ride, and i am so much more efficient now than when I started.
I really can't wait for the Time Trial on Thursday and the race on Sunday, I think my chances are really good!

Hey, it's a great feeling, isn't it? I think they refer to it as peaking. I am feeling some of the same stuff myself right now.
Be careful, it's like a house of card in that you have to walk a fine line to hang on to it. Back off the mileage, but keep up the intensity. Too much of both will send you into the "over-training scrap heap"!
Good luck in the TT and the race.
Awesome job! It's always good to hear when hard work pays off.
